🚨 Burglary Prevention Alert 🚨

🚨 Burglary Prevention Alert 🚨

We have received reports of burglary offences in the local area and would like to remind residents to remain vigilant and take steps to protect their homes.

🔒 Always lock doors and windows, even when you are at home.
🔒 Keep keys, wallets, handbags and car keys out of sight and away from doors and windows.
🔒 Leave lights on timers when you are out to make your home appear occupied.
🔒 Ensure sheds, garages and outbuildings are secure and alarmed where possible.
🔒 Consider installing CCTV, a video doorbell or a burglar alarm.
🔒 Do not share holiday plans or details of when your property will be empty on social media.

👀 Please be alert to any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood, including unknown persons acting suspiciously around properties, door handles being tried, or vehicles cruising slowly through residential areas.

If you have CCTV, doorbell footage or information that may assist police, please report it via 101 or online at Staffordshire Police. In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, call 999 immediately.

Working together, we can help keep our community safe and reduce opportunities for criminals.
